“Reading inabilities” are often incorrectly diagnosed as “reading disabilities”.
This can so easily result in the child being incorrectly labelled and classified with one or the other “disorder”. We therefore often find that this “reading inability” is effectively addressed by the Wise Eye reading programme.
Even in the event of the child having a recognised form of a learning disability, he can be taught ways to “learn around” his specific problems by obtaining and using appropriate learning strategies specific to him.
Children having difficulty to read experience feelings of shame that interfere with the ability to stay engaged in the task of reading. The Wise Eye reading programme assists in restoring the child’s feeling of self worth, in turn resulting in a happy, well adjusted child able to reach his full potential.
Should the child already be a good reader, just imagine and visualise for a moment at what excellent level he will be able to read on completion of the Wise Eye reading programme!
