Dankie aan Louise vir al jou bystand, baie motivering, geduld en insette met my dogter.
A great part of children’s future reading ability is already determined by the time they start school. For this reason, it is important for parents to know how your young child learns and how you can make optimal use of these pre-school years.
Guided “play” is obviously the most interesting and worthwhile activities for children. By using their five senses, the child discovers the world around him and acquires new knowledge and skills.
During the first few years of their life, a child is on an exciting adventure full of discoveries and has a hunger for stimulation, interaction and exposure. As a motivated parent, you can turn these products into some of the most valuable investments in your child’s life and for their future development.
The following products are available for babies to pre-school and are for use at home by you the parent:
Our flashcards are suitable to start with from the age of 6 months.
At this age, the flashcards are very suitable to help a baby and toddler to expand his/her auditory vocabulary.
Different letter sizes are used for different age levels.
Flashcards can also be used up to Grade 1 level to improve:
- Phonics & Phonemic awareness
Master Your A; B; C's - DVD
This child-friendly DVD is suitable for children from 3 years old up to 7 years.
It consists of short stories of about 5 minutes each, suitable to the attention span of a 3-year-old.
The DVD develops auditory perception, as well as visual perception.
Visualisation and listening skills improve, which is a vital technique for reading effectively as they learn.
Pre-School Activity Book
The Wise Eye Pre-school activity book is suitable for children from 5 years up to 7 years. We focus on aspects relating to visual- and auditory perceptual development.
The Activity book helps to improve concentration and learning and gives you the parent practical ideas and guidelines.
Therapy should always be a game - it's about the activity itself and not about the end result or final product created.
Exercises on paper (worksheets) must be limited with the younger toddler. Parents should include the activities in their daily program (i.e. in the car, the shop, or the garden at home).
